What is Kybella®?

Kybella is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that contours and improves the appearance of the chin, sometimes referred to as the “double chin.”  It is used to treat the fat cells beneath the chin but can also be used in other areas of stubborn fat deposits. Kybella destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in the fullness of the treated area. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.  

What Can I Expect?

Kybella is a safe, non-surgical procedure. Before your treatment begins, any anesthetic necessary will be administered. Then, we use a special grid to draw the boundaries for the injections on your skin carefully.  Next, you will receive multiple injections, depending on your needs. The procedure is very simple and straightforward, taking roughly 20 minutes to complete. Most clients have limited to no downtime or a complicated recovery process. Finally, you might require multiple treatments depending on how much fat needs to be eradicated.
